I am still astounded that you could take me from 20/400 to 20/30 on my near vision and from 20/40 (right eye) and 20/60 (left eye) to 20/30 in both eyes on my distance vision within the space of half a day! Now I know why you were rated number one in the nation for the ReSTOR/ReZOOM procedure. I can honestly say I had virtually no down time. I felt well and fit enough to go to the gym by the next day even though I refrained due to your instructions not to lift any weights over 25 pounds until further instruction. In my work as a psychotherapist, it is essential that I have good eye contact with my clients. Thus, taking away the barrier of my reading glasses has helped me feel more present with my clients. Furthermore, my passion for adventure will no longer be dampened by my need for reading glasses. For example, I recently climbed South Africa's highest mountain culminating in a 100 foot vertical chain ladder with my reading glasses dangling around my neck at the end of a "granny chain" -- not quite fitting with the rugged, outdoor image I was trying to portray! No longer will I have to deal with that kind of inconvenience.
