“I recently had LASIK eye surgery at Christenbury Eye Center. I had heard of Christenbury Eye Center through ads on TV and in the newspaper. I also knew that my brother had LASIK surgery on his eyes there and was extremely happy with the results. I wondered if the surgery would work for me, but at that point I was happy with my contacts so I didn’t give the idea much more thought. Then, I began to have problems with my contacts. I suppose they didn’t fit properly. Twice I had to pull off the road while driving because the contacts hurt so badly. Twice, also, I had lost the contacts because I wasn’t careful removing them from my eyes due to the pain I was experiencing.

“After I lost the second set of contacts, I called Christenbury Eye Center for a free screening. I learned that I was a good candidate for mono-vision correction and so I scheduled an appointment for May 13, 2003. Why I waited so long, I do not know. The procedure was mostly painless and the moment the surgery was done my vision was perfect. I immediately could see the time on the clock on the wall. The next day I hosted a birthday party for my husband at our home and on Sunday I led worship and preached at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Statesville, where I serve as pastor. I have had no problems at all following the surgery and others are amazed at my clarity of vision.
